Follow the sisterhood as it grows and spreads its bonds of love, warmth and friendship.
CJ is the happiest she has ever been as everyone returns from New York. Engaged to the love of her life, she is about to start college and launch her new career.
Shannon, the second in the sisterhood trio, has also fallen madly in love with a fireman and now they both are determined to help Christine find that “special someone” out there for her. A task greatly complicated by Shawn and Bert because Christine has vowed to settle for no one short of their equal.
Even though this should be the happiest time of her life, CJ’s mind is a jumble of worries.
Will Shawn’s constant over protectiveness cause her to call off the wedding? A move that would not only devastate Shawn but forever destroy their friendship with Shannon and Bert.
By agreeing to help the girls from GenerateHope will it drag her back to the life she’s tried so desperately to put behind her?
Is a joint wedding and honeymoon really a good idea or will spending so much time together drive a wedge between the two couples and shatter the bonds of the friendship they all cherish?
And what about CJ’s strange dreams? The ones that stop being dreams and become reality? Are they truly dreams or warnings she needs to heed?
Available in Kindle ebook from Amazon or paperback from Amazon, Barnes and Noble or wherever fine books are sold.
What readers are saying about The Sisterhood
Average review: 5 out of 5 stars
Food, friendship and fun! That’s the theme for The Sisterhood, a continuation of a great debut novel, Horses of Tir Na Nog.
Be prepared to take a trip abroad and visit London, Istanbul, Paris, Kusadasi and Ephesus. Experience the uniqueness of each of these places as we join CJ, Shawn, Shannon and Bert at their wedding, amazing reception and on their honeymoon.
The Sisterhood picks up directly where the Horses of Tir Na Nog left off. Reacquaint yourself with old friends as they begin new journeys that continue the strong bond of friendship, closeness and honesty they built up amongst people who love and look after one another.
The Sisterhood introduces a new set of characters that bring new challenges and interest to the trilogy. It explores themes of hope and taking risks.
The joy that The Sisterhood characters find in sharing a meal with those they love is described by Bob like no other. You can taste the wonderful dishes brilliantly described to the extent that you’ll be drooling.
And there’s a cliff-hanger at the end that you won’t want to miss setting up for the grand finale of Dreams.
The Sisterhood can be read as a stand-alone novel, but to understand the true meaning of The Sisterhood I would definitely read Horses of Tir Na Nog first.
An enjoyable read!
I totally enjoyed this book. It shows how there can be true hope and a future for women who were assaulted, abused, and trafficked, thru places like GenerateHope after so much pain and abuse. Following C.J., Shawn, Shannon and Bert on their amazing honeymoon was like being there and seeing the world through their eyes. I had to look up the places they had been to see pictures for myself. You can tell how much Bob really cares for others and has a true love of life. Can’t wait for the next one.
The sisterhood continues! I really enjoyed reading the continuing adventures of the characters from Book 1, plus loved meeting new characters as well. The description of all the places they visited on their travels was breathtaking. I felt like I was right there with them. Once you start reading this book, you won’t want to put it down. Can’t wait to read the third book in the Trilogy
